Foxfire87
I've ordered some magnalium and titanium to make stars and prime. I've read that the magnalium has turnings in it that need separated. Will this be the same with the titanium? Do I need to screen it all before use? So in reality, my 1 pound of magnalium is a lot less?
Arthur
The magnalium is both powder and turnings, it's all magnalium, this is to allow simple shipping. Separate it by sieving and use both parts for different uses.
davidh
The turnings are magnesium, not magnalium. Magnalium is quite brittle and can't be turned. The turnings are a shipping requirement. It's always cheaper to find a local supplier, or a supplier at a festival or convention. And yes, you will only get slightly less than 1/2lb of magnalium. Daniel1J
You have to have good connections to get it profitable, that's right.
BetICouldMake1
It also depends where you order your magnalium from. Not all vendors include turnings. Including them is not a shipping requirement, it just makes it cheaper for them ship.
