Mumbles Posted June 19, 2019 Share Posted June 19, 2019 For bridgewire ignitors, water based binders would tend to corrode the nichrome. You would probably want use something organic based. NC lacquer as has been mentioned is most common. You could try phenolic perhaps too. The cracking might be due to the acetone being wet and promoting the corrosion I mentioned.
