That's identified as a Cherry Tree, which has quite an extensive history in the production of BP, I believe. According to a few different sources it has performed well in BP tests. I'd say you should have fairly good results using trimmings from that. The general consensus seems to be that the softer the wood, the better the charcoal for BP production.
