But do not know where to start.I have some substances: BaNo3, SrNo3, NaNo3, Kclo4, Kclo3, Kno3, C, S, detrin, a few Mg.Can anyone help me with some reference formulas?Thanks very much!! Arthur Posted December 30, 2018 Share Posted December 30, 2018 Red Yellow and Blue are made from Strontium, Sodium and Copper salts respectively, but you are short of several of the other essential ingredients also. SO a good study of the formulation lists on this forum or elsewhere will yield you a fuller list of things that you will need. Each star comp will be (very roughly!) 60% oxidiser, and 10% each of colour donor, chlorine donor fuel and binder.
