TheWalkingManiac Posted October 24, 2018 Share Posted October 24, 2018 So im wanting to make a homemade mortar, no not the one that blows people up (that would be cool tho) I was thinking of a co2 propelled mortar "smoke bomb" with an impact grenade shell to set off the mix (KNO3 + Sugar) just to make a non leathal "smoke mortar" For the body of the mortar, i was thinking of using a simple PVC pipe with a sharp nail at the bottom to penatrait the CO2 canister, My quiestion is... how on earth do i make the impact grenade shell!? 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Speaking of which I would say you are most likely not to get the replies that you seek as for as far as I can see is not a very good ideal. What you are trying to make would be a spud-gun like device mortar. With the knowledge you have now shown - a lack of being able to make one work and operate safely seems to worry me. I would ask you to reconsider dropping this project for the time being. And since you are here, began to read, learn and study the safety of pyro as a hobby.
