rcandy subsitute for black powder

how can i make powderd rcandy that burns fast like black powder like this. what is the ratios and what is karo? what is karo used for in this mixture?

Karo is corn syrup. It is composed of fructose sugar instead of sucrose (white sugar). In actual candy making it is added to prevent crystallization of the sucrose (crystals in candy would be nasty). In Rcandy, it improves on brittleness which helps prevent cracking in cast grains.

The fastest burn rate you are going to get from Rcandy is with the proper stoichiometric formula (65/35 is almost perfect) and the addition of a couple percent red iron oxide. Unless there is some special secret out there, that is about it. You have to realize, the burn rate of Rcandy is one of the things that makes it so good for rockets
