Do somebody know how to make canister shell that looks like star mine in the air.I got quite a lot of flying fish visco and now I wish to make 2" canister shells with them. NeighborJ Posted June 11, 2018 Share Posted June 11, 2018 Hi kuglca, the effect you are referring to is a horsetail break. In a plastic canister shell, it can easily be made by shifting the burst charge all to one end of the shell, the fish fuse is primed on one end and inserted against the burst. When constructing such a shell, the fish fuse can be loaded in the shell first, primed end up then load the burst. The time fuse should not extend all the way to the center of the shell but to the center of the burst, most of the time fuse will need to be protruding from the end cap on the outside.
