RichardH08
If anyone is interested, I have recently started a thread on my ‘home’ forum (www.pyro-gear.co.uk) to describe my ongoing research into crackle compositions. Over time, it’s likely to get quite long and I hope it will generate some useful responses and/or discussions. For those reasons, I don’t want to replicate it on other forums because it would be just too difficult to keep everything under control, and synchronised. However, the thread is in a ‘members only’ section, so you will have to sign up to the forum in order to see it. But membership is free, so what do you have to lose? I’ll admit that part of my motivation in setting the location is to persuade people – including our many guest visitors – to join, but I don’t want anyone to think I’m attempting to poach members from here, or anywhere else. If the relevant ‘powers that be’ are not happy with this post, and want to remove it, I’ll understand.

RichardH08
Yes, that's my name. That pyrobin article was from over 4 years ago, and my research has gone a long way since then.
