Question about glue in a chinese video

Anyone knows what is that glue used in 0:57?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBTbEoKU-Vg

I saw it in the chinese shells, when is dried is like a stone, in this video I see it the first time working with it...

By the consistence of the final result Im very interested in this glue, I think that is a good replacement for hotglue (if is not to expensive)

Greetings

If the Chinese factories use a product you can be certain that it's the cheapest product that works.

Westech has one in their manual that uses sodium silicate and whatnot but it doesn't look like that glop they were using.

Going by the colour and consistancy, i`d guess its maybe a bentonite and silicate combo which would provide good gap filling/sealing qualities with heat resistance and adhesion. It would definitely set like stone ;)

Thanks for the answers, anyone knows how to make it? "bentonite and silicate" tutorial or something like this?

The one I'm referring to contains calcium carbonate, zinc oxide and sodium silicate.

Next time i`m in the shed i`ll mix a few different batches and see what it looks like. The ingredients are cheap, sodium silicate is around 50p a litre, bentonite maybe 45p a kilo ;)

Michael Fallas has reported on Passfire about this glue.Anyone still has a subscription for PS look it up and pls report back.As far as I remember it is water soluble and has a very limited shelflive.

FYI, zinc oxide mixed with sodium silicate cures rather quickly, so that's not what they are using.
