fr3dopyrox Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 hello guys, i want to press 1 lb rocket with whistle mix 64 kp,32 pota benzoat,5 petroleum jelly,1 red oxyde; my press is one 4 tons bottle jack, but i haven't gauge, do you think i can to have problem if i don't see pressure because i haven't gauge?and i can to press hard if this "press have only 4 tons pressure? NeighborJ Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 Whistle rockets can be made to operate over a wide range of pressures but they will unlikely be reliable without a method of measuring that force. They need to be pressed with a consistent force for each increment, otherwise the fuel can have density variations, week fuel grains or tube damage.
