Missouri Bound Soon (2 questions)

Recommended Posts

I figured it's a long shot but since I'm headed MO way soon and plan to rent while I search for just the right property I figured I'd throw out the feelers on here too.

So do we have any Missourian lanslords on here? Looking for something outside city limits in the Neosho/ Joplin area. Also and probably most important, no I don't plan to make/use/store any pyro on the property whilst a tennant, that would be bad form. I have a seperate place and also plam to join a local club.

While I'm at it does any one know if HB 1672 passed creating the hobby fireworks license or is it still a manufacturers license in the good ol' show me state?

Thanks in advance fellas.

Oh man.. don't move to the flatlands.. come on over closer to springfiel/branson

I lived in Joplin for almost a decade. :)

I think the only clubs are up around KC.. I've never made contact with them though. I know Dr X is up that way somewhere.

I guess if ya get fired up we'll have to head up there and check em out. Eventually I'll get something going here. :)

Well thats a little bit of a bummer about the clubs being out and away but I'm sure I'll make due even if it takes a bit longer or lots of weekend trips 😁

For the start I'm going to settle near work and then look around for the right spot to really dig in.

A local industrial coatings Co. Will be painting water towers, pipe lines etc..

Not shure my employer would apreciate me throwing the name around on here, I'm sure you understand. I try to err on the side of caution with many things.

Nah... He just likes the name, has the webpage in the signature, and "pyro tools made by a pyro" is a generic slogan.

Just kidding, of course. Yes, that would be him. I take it you are on a mobile device?

Come visit sometime. I'm not really that exciting but would be glad to say hello. :) If it's an evening I might even stop and make some pyro.

1. Yes, Mr. B on my cell.

2.Caleb: I will definitely stop by when a I get down there; i was actually planning on contacting you when I did to see about some rocket tooling. Good to talk to the guy a lot of my pay checks are likely end up in the hands of lol.

3. So do you have a store there or is it petty much just online buisiness?

4. I'm coming down to unite the south Missourian pyros, we shold use my relocation as an excuse to all have a visit at Woodys and buy some tools 😜

You guys are gonna make me get my act together and find a real place to shoot.. get a container set up and manufacturing site.
Might have to make it happen.. "in all my spare time" hahahahahahhahahahha

It's all online. Only a couple guys have ever stopped by. We have had consumer fireworks for almost a decade now.. we clean out the front room and sell them from there but this year.. I'm gonna try to go to the highway and put up a tent. hopefully I will have some help for that. :)

Like Caleb said, not many clubs around. I'm up near KC and the nearest building club for me is Midlands up in Nebraska/Iowa. For you guys down there might be worth checking out the club in Texas or MOPyro, either way it would be a drive. The club in KC, KCAP, is all about commercial pyro, they got real uneasy when I asked about bringing hobbyist stuff a while back. Other than X, the only other "club" in the area is Wheatland Pyros, but that was just something a few of us made up to confuse people in PGI competition :D

If you do go for setting something up, my spare time will be at your desposal to help toward that end; starting shortly after (if not upon) my arival in April, if it's needed.

Dynomike, you aswell.
