Time to move on to 5".

I shot some 6 inch but they went very high so the clouds took em ;(

I have a film whit one where i did a huge misstake... i put Independence red stars  (ring) along whit a streamer effect.. you can only see the red in the clouds/mist. Very dumb decision

Here´s some more 3 inch...

man! some fine work in these shells! crisp color changes, multiple effects and all crammed in 3 and 4 inch shells...that was impressive

Verry Nice shells F*Imdead!, its amazing to see that much effect in 3"

How did you screen them? did you dry them before screening? or did you roll them to the size / screening them between increments?

Compositions?

layer thickness of collor?

total star diameter?

Hello

Thanks :)

I use a small lead core to roll on. Sort them whit this homemade good looking device :) (roll maybe 3mm each time then dry and repeat)

The latest film is Spanish fuschia and plain BP meal whit 10% FeTi, very thin layer of BP+si prime. ( I always use a very thin layer of prime to get more composition place)

The one to the left is Fuschia and the other one is the blue/Red from a video in this thread.

Couldn´t break them 100% in half..

I use a cutter, and have done both punched through timefuse, with a strand of BM in the hole, dipped i NC / BP slurry, and tied, bent over the end, BM. For me, no doubt the best results were with punched hole for the BM, followed by NC / BP slurry, and last... well.

It's just down to how consistent you can be, and that of course also applies to the timefuse. If it isn't consistent, then nothing else will be either.
