Redrocketman Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 Hi all. After checking emails today, I have found that due to my recent purchacing, my Chem supplier has sent me 1kg of KCIO4. Bonus!! Now being that I am mostly focussed on r candy rockets, I really couldn't see it going to much use. Then I thought stuff it I might as well try some flash powder. I only at the present 200 mesh light Al powder, no dark. Have all other common BP ingredients & some different iron oxides.What is the most stable, but loud powder that can be made ( if so ) using light Al?? I see that most if not all mixes call for dark German Al powder..Lastly, I believe the diaper method to be a reasonably safe mixing teqnique, any advice?
