OldMarine
Since my HP Deskjet recently went kaput, I'm in the market for a new printer which I'd like to dedicate to the shop. Doesn't need to be fancy but must be durable as temps and humidity vary wildly over the seasons here. I'm almost as good with computers as a frog with aerial navigation. ddewees
I bought this one back in November, and it works really well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S74JAHK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=
dagabu
Nice looking color LaserJet, what do the carts run? My recommendation is the HP LaserJet 1320n its black and white, no frills but its networkable. The one at work got rained and snowed on a few times and ran all sorts of papers. I have one at home as well and they run $50-60 used on the fleabay.
OldMarine
Everyone is saying the laser jet works better at temperature extremes. I think I'll go that route. Thanks y'all.
Arthur
Remember that NO printer works well if the paper is too cold or even slightly damp.
dagabu
The 1320 seems to feed single sheets well both in cold and damp conditions, YMMV....
OldMarine
I have a plexiglass cabinet to put the printer in to keep out the dust and humidity.
OldMarine
I found a refurbished 1320 on eBay for $88 with a 90 day warranty + free shipping. That might be me.
