BlueComet24
Those are some really nice shells! What are the comps of the glitter stars, comets before the reports, and white flashers?
ExplosiveCoek
Amazing as usual, Zmuro! Can you tell me a bit more about the last DP shell? What where the comps and break configurations? Thanks! Also was wondering, what do you use for lift? As it always sounds like a salute going off .

burningRNX
Nice stuff, nice IP, What burst carryer did you use between and in the middle?, and what size cavity former? (second 6" round) Edited February 10, 2016 by burningRNX
ExplosiveCoek
My guess would be 3'' . Zmuro, one more question: was there a difference between the break of the first and second 6''? It appears to break different.
Zmuro
Those are some really nice shells! What are the comps of the glitter stars, comets before the reports, and white flashers? The glitter stars were D1, comet to report shell used 15mm ID x 50mm paper tubes with pressed slow BP + 10% titanium. The inserts have been drilled back for timing. The strobe stars were from spanish pdf. Amazing as usual, Zmuro! Can you tell me a bit more about the last DP shell? What where the comps and break configurations? Thanks! Also was wondering, what do you use for lift? As it always sounds like a salute going off . Outer petal stars were TT (grill charcoal) + 10% titanium (250-500 mic). Pink stars used as cores were 8mm and the composition is:Purple Star – FreakyDutchmanPotassium Perchlorate – 49,12Strontium carbonate – 7Copper Oxide – 6,14Parlon – 13,15Red gum – 10,5MgAl – 10,5Dextrin – 3,5 For lift I used homemade BP with alder buckthorn charcoal. The BP was wetted into a ball and then grated on cheese grater. The amount of lift used was measured by oz. per pound rule. Nice stuff, nice IP, What burst carryer did you use between and in the middle?, and what size cavity former? (second 6" round) For burs I always use meal coated puffed rice in ration 4:1, the inner petal was 3" with 8mm pumped strobe stars and KP as break for inner petal. I use this setup for all my DP shells. My guess would be 3'' . Zmuro, one more question: was there a difference between the break of the first and second 6''? It appears to break different. The only difference that I can recall is the outer stars were 14mm pumped + prime willow diadem stars and there hasn't been as much room for break.

dynomike1
It's a shame the comet to report was turned wrong. That would have really looked good.
