Hi there,

I want to find out if I combine TPA with KNO3 and Al and if it will work as flash powder? Or TPA:KNO3:Al:S?

I have KNO3:Al:S ready. I can definitely obtain TPA.

How should I go about testing this? I was thinking I would try:

TPA:KNO3:Al  1:4:3 2:3:3 3:2:3

TPA:KNO3:Al:S  1:5:3:1  2:4:3:1  3:3:3:1

Let me know what you guys think.

Personally I think 15% tpa is too much. Any higher and it likely won't work. Next time I will try 10% tpa with 70/30. I don't know the lower point where it's not beneficial at all.
