I use a nozzled design and confess, even though I've built everything from bottle rockets (1/4" bore) up to 6 lb size, 3 lb is my favorite large size. Keep up the research and development. That's where the greatest fun lays . WSM Edit: I forgot to mention, for rockets with larger or heavier payloads, I prefer longer sticks for straighter flights.
