Engine:

- Fuel 60/33/7 BP

- Delay 54/36/10 BP + 5% Ti

 

Can shell:

- I.D 63 mm

- 5 layers charcoal stars 12 mm (65 in shell).

- Burst 50/30/20+6% (KNO3/S/Al + magnalium). Total in shell 20g.

- Shell weight 217g.

 

Charcoal stars:

KNO3 - 39%

Chracoal (airfloat) - 42%

S - 7%

Dextrin - 6%

FeTi - 6%

Purple stars:

KCLO4 - 44%

CuO - 20%

Magnalium - 12%

PVC - 8%

SrCO3 - 6%

Phenolic resin - 10%

That rocket was very nice!

 

Have you tried using a chipboard liner in your shell? It would shrink the inner diameter a little bit and might eliminate the need for so many shims in between the comets.

Pirotex is definitely one of the best pyrotechnicians I've seen. Especially on youtube.
