Arthur
Does anyone care to post about the incompatibilities of pyro chemistry? I'm aware of Chlorates with Sulphur or Phosphorus What others are there and what are the work rounds please?
rogeryermaw
don't work ammonium perchlorate and chlorate formulas in the same workshop. ammonium chlorate can be as unpredictable as armstrong's.

pyrojig
LOL, how about stupid people and fireworks/ flameable stuff. Your title " incompatibilities" is a bit broad in its definition , but good for some humor ( sorry i could not resist) . A good source is Hardt 's book. There is lot of good info on incompatibilities( in a pyro sense ) .
FlaMtnBkr
Ammonium compounds and copper aren't supposed to play well together. Chlorate and sulfur, phosphorus, ammonium, or hexamine can be dangerous. And chlorate, nitrate, and aluminum or MgAl is a dangerous combo. The nitrate and aluminum can form ammonia which then can form ammonium chlorate. Those are a few more incompatibilities with common pyro chems.
