braddsn Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Just want some opinions on this. The prime I am using is a 2 step system, KP hot prime first, followed by a bp+mgal mix on top. My question is about the BP+MgAl step. The formula just calls for lift-grade bp + 5% MgAl. Well, I also added 5% silicon, and 5% Diatomaceous earth. Being that silicon is also a metal, am I wasting time/money putting the silicon in there since there is already MgAl in it? And what do you think about the DE?
