Composition Type: Color metallic
Creator: Pirotex
Color/Effect: Slow burning torquose star
Precedure/Preparation: Pump or cut with water or 25% alcohol in water

 

Ba(NO3)2 - 35%

KClO4 - 10%
CuCO3 - 10%
Mg/Al (~200 mesh) - 15%
PVC - 15%
S - 5%
Charcoal (airfloat) - 5%
Dextrin - 5%

Hey Piro, that was a nice rocket and a very nice looking shell. Colour perception is as individual as we are, and therefore very subjective. Probably a bit on the blue side for me - but ddewees perceives it as more green??? - a case in point.

 

I think blue and green is an area of differing perceptions and so called 'colour blindness', especially when they are close.

 

This video has turquoise in it.

 

Yes, it does have turquoise in it. A sensational display of fireworks. What I call turquoise (as in the gemstone colour) happens around 13:45, and goes for around 20secs.

 

It's also important to point out that the gemstone colour turquoise, has many variations between blue and green.
