mkn
4 oz Rocket with 1.75 inch cylinder loaded with cut Spider Stars 3/8" to 1/2". Ti sponge 20 -40 mesh, in delay charge was late on ignition and can be seen during the burst. Nice Rocket lift and burst timing, some lingering ash in the spider tails maybe from commercial hardwood charcoal? Used 80 mesh and milled comp for 1 hour. Maybe use pine charcoal next ? Thanks for any feed back, Matt
skid68
Very nice. I want to start making some 4oz rockets as well. What do you use for tooling? What tubes do you use?
mkn
I made my own tooling watch the video from Nighthawkinlight, and made my own tubes watching the video by Viking Pyrotechnics.if your mechanical and have access to basic shop tools the tooling is fairly easy. The tube are easy, and if you mess a few up getting started, its only paper and glue !matt
