Hemp Coal

I recently dried some male cannabis plants and then cooked the thicker stalks to charcoal.

The cannabis is the large sativa common to south africa. Easily growing to 8 foot tall.

The charcoal is then ball milled to fine dust overnight.

The H3 it produces is very good, tearing at the air ( almost like a primary ) during unconfined burn tests and detonating with very slight confinement.

H3 with its ratio of 10 potassium chlorate to 3 hemp charcoal is stoichiometrically fuel rich. A ratio of 4:1 is closer to perfect. That is what I call H4, in that the ratio is 4 parts chlorate to 1 parts charcoal by weight.

here burn and detonation tests:

I'm making a batch of hemp BP as I write this down.

Expect burn rate comparison tests of Pine, Jacaranda and Hemp BP soon
