Ralph Posted February 19, 2011 Share Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Started using APC on the iPhone recently ( thanks to the sidewinder for fixing that up ) First thing is the app is identical to using it in safari the only benefit is the app rembers your username and password. An annoying thing is if you log in on you iPhone it logs you off on the computer When you first start using it it will be in the basic mode which is optimized for easy use on the iPhone but lacks many handy things that you are probably used too ( eg you can view peoples statuses but can not post your own. Nor can you use chat or the formula data base) bit all this can be solved by going to the bottom of the page and touching " use full version " to change back to the iPhone mode you just need to do the same thing you would when changing skins . It also seems that you are unable to upload pics /PDFs this may only work in the iPhone mode ( or not at all) I will look into it One of the biggest upsides ( atleast to people reading what you write) is that you are forced to spell things correctly though this will make chemical formulas ( though it is surprisingly good with names) a pain as many do not come up on the spell checker Edited February 19, 2011 by Ralph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you log in at one place, the software automatically logs you out from all other places. Well, from different computers at least.
