VaterAraignee Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I don't understand the need to use flame proof shroud line\attachment.Assuming you know how far from the flame your parachute has to be and have calculated your shroud lines... You connect the ends of the "cotton" lines together. Add a single line to that.Double the length of your flair tube.Affix 3 to 4 lines with your preferred method to the end of the tube.Attach those to the single line.I have forgotten to use a flame retardant on the tube, lines and parachute more than a couple of times and ended in disaster once.
