Homemade shell pasting machine

GermanPyro

Recommended Posts

Hello pyros,

Last friday I've seen this video:

and I was inspired to design a similar shell pasting machine.

Here is the beginning: (usable for shells up to 16")

Greetings from Germany

Very cool, always nice to see some ingenuity in the pyro world. I look forward to seeing how it turns out, best of luck on your project. I built one as well a few years ago, maybe I will post it later on in a separate thread.

Nice to see this cause I'm planning on building one myself as well but I was thinking of another design but this might be better. How are you going to stick the shell to the rotating arm? Can't really see on my phone.

Excellent question, what is the small nub that protrudes from the base of the shell, used for mounting? I'm thinking it surrounds the time fuse. I wonder how its attached to the shell and its composition?
