clarkie752
I recently made up some 1/2" comet to report inserts for a 3 inch canister shell I am making. I test fired one of them last night and was happy with how it went. I also got to test out a new camera for my firework videos. I am getting excited for this pyro season.
clarkie752
Here is a video of the 3" canister shell that had the above inserts in it. It performed exactly how I wanted it too.https://youtu.be/TehLE6vKdq0

OldMarine
How are those made? I haven't progressed that far but I figure I could learn those and crossettes next.
clarkie752
Thanks Mike. I was super excited how that shell turned out.Oldmarine I made the inserts based off the DWC 5" shell tutorial on Fireworking.com in the articles section. Ned has a tutorial of how he went about recreating that shell also. All I did was scale the inserts down from the size they used too 1/2" comets and tubes and I also cut the burn time of the time fuse. I used gorilla wood glue to glue in my comets and the time fuse.
