This tooling is made to go with my 1/2in rocket/insert tubes I just got in. They are a high quality 3.5in. tube that is good for hand ramming or pressing. Here's the new tooling. All kinds of fun to be had with this little kit. The simple kit comes a universal spindle and two rammers for making all kinds of little rockets. Or the complete kit comes with an additional short spindle that is good for long screaming whistle rockets, gerbs or endburners depending on your fuel combinations. The flat rod is for pressing whistle inserts for your shells. Of course those are stainless spindles with oversized rims to fit the tube nice and snug just like all my tooling.I just made up a quick whistle on the universal spindle. pressed it in my drill press with no tube support. Here she is. The little hybrid kit with 50 tubes is 90 bucksand the complete kit with 50 tubes is 120. That small hybrid spindle is 2in. overall. so a shorter tube would work fine, and it's no big deal to cut longer rammers if someone wanted them for a slightly longer tube. I don't care about selling tubes. the mark up is so small anyway. I'm just thinking it's nice for someone to get tooling with tubes and can know that they were made for each other and will fit nicely. I bought those tubes for a bunch of different uses. Whistle to report inserts, baby rockets, and some people want them to attach cylinder shells to 1lb rockets they fit perfectly over a spollette and into the 1lb tubes I just bought.
