Then directly to the subject of M-80's in post #1 in this thread http://www.amateurpyro.com/forums/topic/11790-fusing-salute-string-safely/?p=158802 I apologize to all for any off comments or bullying I may have done, I may overreacted but I cannot just sit still when I read these, one after the other. Not related but certainly my motivation behind my responses, I am headed off to the Regions Burn Center to speak peer to peer with the current burn survivors in the unit. I pray I can offer hope to them and after my posts here over the past two days, I hope I am capable of a smile. WindowLicka, I have NO anger or hate for you and want you to feel at home here as we do but please, please, read your posts linked above in the context that you posted them and see if you can see what I reacted to. That post #41 was meant as a kind of poke at the OP because I really do feel he is full of it with his contest and needing 3000g of flash, then asking if he should do them in 10g batches. I guess when I nonchalantly try to fuck with someone I shouldn't end the post by being supportive and open. I can see your point. But read the first part with a sense of sarcasm(that obviously missed its mark), then you might see The sarcasm. The end of it I straight up said I don't ever need that amount of flash and to be careful. I'm really sorry I didn't know the touchy nature of salutes and especially the m-80 stigma in the pyroworld. I'm not really an ametuer only a 2 month student for a homemade 4th of July fireworks showing for me and my family. I totally understand the seriousness of stringing 23 or so salutes together and have weighed my options very carefully. I suppose it would go over just fine with 20+ gerbs I made but I want something to shake up a few of my family members out of love f course. Me keeping it on the ground and being the only one to light anything off will keep everyone safe and secure. Again sorry to offend the forum, and the hobby in general. That wasn't my intention. I could have mottled through it most likely but I wanted to get the opinions on how to fuse them from others here who know better than I.
