OldMarine
That's a bargain! I bought the Allpax brand board and the rubber top peeled up after about 10 minutes in the sun. They must have used bubble gum to stick it on. I had to clean it all off and use contact cement to put it back on.

Arthur
When a UK pyro company changed hands a few years ago the arbour presses and punch tools were the high value items -one punch tool for each size of plug they could possibly need. without the tools thousands would be spent to replace them all. Sometimes you do have to spend the money
rohit
You can use Olfa circle cutters made in Japan. I bought two small cuts till 6" and bigger one cuts till 12".
lloyd
An AllPax cutter (frequently found on Ebay, used) seems to be the 'favorite tool' of anyone who's tried one. Lloyd
OldMarine
I have both an Allpax and a Spearhead gasket cutter and they work exactly the same. You can still purchase OEM blades for the Allpax but the Spearhead is no longer made so replacement blades are unavailable. I've found that Exacto hobby knife blades can be made to work well and are much cheaper than Allpax blades.

marks265
There are punches like this for bigger diameters, but I can't recall what they are called. I spent an hour looking for them yesterday. I could swear McMaster Carr had them but I sure as heck can't find them now! OldMarine
Caleb, you left out the fact that you cut your discs with a "FRICKIN' LASER BEAM"!

Knexxo
Hey Folks, Maybe i can inspire some of you with my homemade Allpax "style" Cutter. Its not stepless adjustable, but i can cut discs for 2" and 3" canister shells. There is no problem to add few more holes for larger discs. http://pyrobin.com/files/IMG_20200325_180035.jpg http://pyrobin.com/files/IMG_20200325_180046.jpg http://pyrobin.com/files/IMG_20200325_181011.jpg http://pyrobin.com/files/IMG_20200325_180829.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MOiRYr1T1M&feature=youtu.be Knexxo Edited March 25, 2020 by Knexxo
