Something i can only recommend you too, are the skylighter.com articles. Most of them are really good and beginner friendly.Also skylighter has a book"fireworks & pyro projects", it sometimes gets listed as free for download. nater Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Please read the referenced literature, but feel free to ask specific questions too. These forums contain some great tips. Sun and planet shells are a common entry into complex cylinder shells, likewise a symmetrical double pedal with pistil ball shell is often the start of more complex effects. Start a thread as you start a project and maybe one or two others will try the same thing and someone else will share the tips they learned along the way. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I found it just on google, read it online.-------------Yep, Shroe' is correct: That book is still in publication. Any on-line versions of it would be 'pirated copies'. Dr. Shimizu is no longer alive to defend his copyright, so it might be a moot point, but it's not fair to the printers and publishers to steal the information. IF you find a copy of Lancaster's book on Google (reader service), and it is not just an 'excerpts' version, then Ron Lancaster needs to be notified, so he can have it taken down. I'm a correspondent of his, and will be glad to do it. If you have a link, please share it. Even my little booklet gets so-abused periodically, and I defend it vigorously. But I always buy the hard copy first - at least for books newer than 1920. It was kind of funny - a link to FAST was recently posted on a high-power rocketry site, with a suggestion that people check out certain sections. It was funny how offended they got when I asked for a link to "Experimental Composite Propellants" - their 'bible'. Either you act honorably, or not. Your call. I ordered the book from Ned so i can have it with a clear conscious.I will be posting on my initial projects because with all the knowledge available here i'd be a fool to not tap into it.Again thanks for all the suggestions.
