dagabu Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Another interesting idea is to set a tube fountain inside a mortar with the mine and use a fuse running from the bottom of the fountain to a small lift charge on top of the mine to expel the fountain tube and light the mine. Fire proofing is important here so that the fountain doesn't light the mine when ejected. It was a real fun class c item I saw a few years back and should be scalable. Adamdragon6 Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Nater's idea seems right. It reminds me a bit of a cheap consumer cake called a merlin's curse. They use a central tube with a fountain rammed in it and 6 or 7 tubes around it for a little shell. I don't see why you couldn't replace the tiny shells with a mine or two.
