Any Pyro plans for New Years Eve?

Hi Guys Charles here,

Still pretty new to this but been making black powder and whistle rockets with small reports. My plan is to have strobe rockets to shoot new years eve. Just got all my materials in and hope my arbor press is strong enough for strobe mix. It seems to work great for my hand rolled .700" tubes on whistle and black powder rockets. I use poly coated 50 lbs virgin kraft rolled on 1/2" emt conduit baked in an oven at 300F for about 20 minutes until the PE soaks into the paper. OD is about 1" with ID of .700". Hope to make tiger willow stars also.

Sorry to get off topic (my own)!

Happy Thanksgiving and feel free to share your plans.

Peace!

Yeah, I live in a small subdivision in the bergs. Gonna be interesting to see how the neighbors respond. I live on the edge so I can fire away from any houses.

Don't really like shooting aerials in my neighborhood, so I'm working on making some large diameter fountain/gerbs. Keep debating whether or not to give them a "happy ending". Self cleaning fireworks are always good in my book. :)

Those are some mighty fine looking fountains/gerbs ddewees.

As for me, just some Kat.4 Italian cyclinders, having a permit has its perks ^_^

Not a good time of year for fireworks downunder. A few years back it was still 50C (122F) after dark.. spent the night sitting in a cold bath.

Since I live in the middle of a forest it is virtually suicidal to to light a cigarette, let alone launch anything.

I wish I was closer to the sea.

I think non-smokers might argue that it's a slow suicide to light a cigarette anywhere. ;p

For New Years 4 6" shells all D-1,5 4" shells red, blue and willows (my blue sucks), and 8 3" red and greens. That's the plan if I can quit shooting the ones I finish.

So will I. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, before the workshop is acceptable to the standards I want, aka. think I need.

And at this moment, because of winter and weather, I am not making much at all.

I do plan to make a buttload of flash-reports/firecrackers, and live out a few boyhood-dreams in the main city :D

(I do not plan to blow shit up. Just make a lot of noise)

I don't even think I can do safe and sane here. It is very dry.

If it's not legally prohibited to use safe and sane devices, you could always put out sprinklers to presoak the area.
